From the age of 13, my baking journey began in our family kitchen alongside my mother. Helping her with her catering business, and working alongside my sisters, I quickly realized that my true passion lay in baking. This love only deepened when I met Freddie, my wonderful husband, and together, we opened our bakery in Dansville. For many years, we thrived, serving our community with love and mouthwatering baked goods.
Even after the bakery closed its doors, my commitment to the craft remained unwavering. I continued to refine my skills and keep my baker’s certifications up to date, all from the comfort of my own kitchen. Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of sharing my baked creations with the people of Dansville and the surrounding areas, each treat filled with a blend of passion and experience.
Now, as I embrace retirement, I’ve returned to what I love most—baking. It’s a chance to revisit old recipes, explore new ones, and fill my days with the sweet aroma of freshly baked goods, just as I did in my younger years. Baking isn’t just a pastime for me; it’s a part of who I am, and I’m excited to continue this delicious journey.
